Letters with Pooh App Reviews

I just purchased this. I am having the same problem as most other people with one star. No sound. The puzzle portion wont even open. I just purchased the iPad 3 for my special needs son and have the iOS 6. How does one get a refund? I am not going to waste my time hunting them down for $2.00s but someone is making a great profit.

Downloaded this app...after the opening screen it crashes and will not come up. Great app if you want 5 seconds of music and a picture of Winnie the Pooh.

Crashes after tracing the third pole when pooh is looking for honey in the pots on top of cabinet.

No sound. App was updated after iPhone 5 release but still needs bugs fixed. Doesnt work!

Great games, cool features, and a neat educational tool for the 4S.

This is our favorite letters app by far, love that there is a story that takes my 3yo through all the different activities. There are a lot of nice, thoughtful touches, but I do think that even though its packed with so much to do, it is a VERY large app. I hope they do something about the size in an update. For those having sound issues, I had a problem with sound on apps before and didnt realize that something in the settings for my iPad could mute some system sounds not others.

My 2 1/2 year old loves this app. He traces his alphabet and says the sounds with the narrator. Entertaining and a great learning tool for a pre-schooler.

I just bought this app for my 3 year old, and it wont open...just crashes after the intro screen. Waste of money if no fix is pushed out very soon.

Well, whatever is wrong witH the OS is still wrong, and it doesnt play except for the opening picture of Pooh and pile letters. So I want my money back. JOY

I cant even try using it. It keeps crashing after loading the game. I have paid for it so please fix it

At first all was fine. Kids loved it. But when the first update arrived, it would not update, and now wont open! Ridiculous.. We should get our $$$ back!

Im having the same issue that the update wont load & now it wont open. It was one of my twins favorites too, so now he just crys when it wont open. Please fix your app!

My grand children love the app. They are 4and2. Have had no problems with it yet.

Ive been tying to teach my 3 year old son the alphabet. We made up posters using all kinds of stickers, we tried alphabet books, weve tried playing games and hes been completely disinterested. I downloaded this app and he loves it. When I asked him if he wanted me to read to him he told me no, he was learning his letters - loved it. Granted hes only been using it a couple of days so the interest may wear off quickly; but, for now, its his favorite app.

Tried updating the app and it still wouldnt upate to my device (ipod, 4th gen with iOS6). I completely deleted it from my iTunes and computer and will try downloading it again. Until then, cant rate any higher.

Such a cute and engaging app. The kids love it, and its fun to learn with such lovable characters :)

This is a fantastic idea for an app, but a few things fell apart in the execution. First, the letters tracing (to get balloons) isnt nearly as strict as the tutorial. My son basically touches the screen in three different places when trying to "trace" an A and it says good job and lets him move on. Whats the point? Secondly, the "next" and "previous" signs are in VERY bad spots. They are right where my son rests his hand (especially in the letter matching/coloring pages activity) so hell be at various points of finishing (very often close to finishing) and hell hit the "next" button and then he has to go back and start all over again. More frustrating for him, but again; why?! I so badly want him to be self sufficient with the app and only request help when the actual goal is a difficult one, not because of oversights in design/execution. Having said that, I have seen a dramatic change even in the way he doodles on paper (he is almost 2 and a half). I also absolutely love that he can record his own voice saying each letter.

Ive been trying to download this app for days now - even contacted customer service. They advised me to download to computer and then sync to IPad. Soooooo - I sync, go to my IPad - not on it. I go BACK to the AppStore via iPad and it showed app is paid for, but "install+" option was below the icon. I hit the install+ button and STILL "waiting" an hour later. What the heck??? If I didnt promise my son he could get it - Id definitely be asking for a refund! #really disappointed thus far - smh

I got this game for my son and he enjoys it. There is one thing I dont like about this app. If he touches the end of a letter when tracing even though he hasnt completed the letter it continues to the next letter regardless. And. There is one thing I absolutely hate about this app. When my son is playing with the stickers, there is no way to turn off the camera feature so my photos applications (as well as iCloud) get filled with dozens upon dozens of unwanted "photos" from this app. As a photographer who keeps a portfolio (not to mention our family photos) in a few of these photo applications, this makes me a little more than upset. Fix this and the app may rank up to four stars. Until then, it only gets one star for sheer stupidity.
